Puma Biotechnology Closes $172 Million Public Offering of Common Stock


Puma Biotechnology, Inc. (NYSE: PBYI), a biopharmaceutical company, announced the closing of an underwritten public offering of 4,312,500 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $40.00 per share. The shares of common stock issued in the offering included 562,500 shares of common stock issued upon the exercise in full by the underwriters of their option to purchase additional shares. The net proceeds from the offering were approximately $162 million, after deducting the underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by the Company.

Citigroup and J.P. Morgan acted as lead book-running managers, Credit Suisse acted as joint book-running manager and BofA Merrill Lynch acted as lead manager for the offering. Stifel acted as co-manager for the offering.
