ProtectWise Partners with Carbon Black to Provide Customers with Holistic Network View

ProtectWise, provider of the enterprise security platform that delivers pervasive visibility, deep analytics and an advanced user experience on demand, today announced a new product integration and corporate partnership with Carbon Black, the leader in next-generation endpoint security.

Industry analysis indicates that the average large enterprise has more than 54 security vendors and around 70 different point products, with security teams and executives finding it extremely difficult to navigate and manage security needs within their own environment. However, in the current threatscape, organizations need the diverse capabilities of these tools and must find strategies to seamlessly leverage a wide variety of security products in a single, correlated view of all data. In doing so, enterprises can intimately understand each new threat detected on the network and protect their data and intellectual property from advanced adversaries.

"When looking for integration partners, we want to work with a broad range of strategic technical champions with a strong set of APIs who share the same approach to cybersecurity," said Scott Chasin, CEO and co-founder, ProtectWise. "We need to come together as an industry, democratize access to data and insights and provide added value and protection to our customers. Carbon Black will help us to do jst that."

By harnessing the power of the cloud, ProtectWise has the unique ability to create an unlimited retention window with full-fidelity forensics, automated retrospection and advanced visualization-all with the ease and cost-savings of an on-demand deployment model. With the Cb Response integration, customers will get more information about devices and users, creating pervasive visibility from endpoint to network. Together, the products give users workflows to not only view the process that ran on the endpoint and executed the connection on the network, but actually see the data sent on the network.

"Visibility is foundational to any good security program. This partnership unites two leading solutions to provide clients with complete visibility from endpoint to network." said Tom Barsi, SVP of Business Development, Carbon Black. "The ability to provide incident response professionals with endpoint context into ProtectWise network alerts is incredibly powerful."

"As we move forward as an organization, we are pursuing an aggressive list of integration partners," said Ramon Peypoch, Chief Product Officer, ProtectWise. "We want to pull in threat detection from other security devices to feed into our event generation system and leverage additional integrations to act as an enforcement point on the network. By focusing on collaborating as an industry, we hope to shift the paradigm away from the current approach to enterprise security and provide better protection to our customers."
