Cloud Standards Customer Council Publishes Cloud Customer Architecture e-Commerce Whitepaper

Cloud Standards Customer Council™ (CSCC™) has published a new reference architecture, Cloud Customer Architecture for e-Commerce, which was written to help technologists leverage cloud computing to support e-Commerce solutions. The whitepaper is available for download at: http://www.cloud-council.org/deliverables/cloud-customer-architecture-for-ecommerce.htm.

The reference architecture is a vendor-neutral and best practices approach to describing the flows and relationships between business capabilities and architectural components for e-Commerce applications that use cloud computing infrastructures, platforms and/or services. Applications comprising the core components of the architecture may be delivered as a service, from on-premises, or osted. Armed with this information, companies will be able to deliver more effective shopping experiences to users and unlock value in supply chain and delivery more efficiently.

The CSCC authors will discuss the e-Commerce reference architecture in more detail during a webinar on October 4, 2016 at 11:00am ET. They will outline key considerations for building out advanced e-Commerce capabilities and determining how best to instantiate an e-Commerce system using private, public or hybrid cloud deployment models. For complimentary registration, visit www.cloud-council.org/events.

The CSCC has written a series of cloud reference architectures, all readily available to members and the public, that describe how to leverage cloud computing technology to support web application hosting, mobile applications, big data and analytics, the Internet of Things, and now, e-Commerce. All of the CSCC's whitepapers can be accessed for free at http://www.cloud-council.org/resource-hub.
