CTA Applauds House Passage of the Government Travel Modernization Act

"Sharing economy platforms such as Uber, Lyft and bikesharing services are revolutionizing transportation and encouraging entrepreneurship throughout the country. By allowing federal employees to use alternative transportation options for official, reimbursable travel, this bill will give federal employees the choices they deserve and already enjoyed by the private sector. We thank Reps. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and Will Hurd (R-TX) - and original co-sponsors Reps. Darrell Issa (R-CA (News - Alert)), Cheri Bustos (D-IL), Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Eric Swalwell (D-CA) - for supporting innovation and competition in transportation.
