CREC Group Helps U.S. Army Establish State-of-the-Art Video Teleconference (VTC) Footprint at Bases in Georgia and Kentucky

AUGUSTA, Ga., Sept. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CREC Group, which specializes in technology, logistics, digital media, training and procurement, announced today that it has successfully completed major secure and non-secure video teleconference (VTC) installation projects at three U.S. Army locations: Fort Campbell (Kentucky), Fort Gillem (Georgia), and Fort Gordon (Georgia).

The multi-phase project fell under the auspices of both CREC Group's Digital Media Division and Information Technology Division, and was led by Program Managers O. Adekeye (Digital Media) and G. Leath (IT), respectively.

• Installing 4 x 4 video wall solutions (consisting of 16 screens) in at least two conferences rooms
• Incorporating a 65 and 84 inch Interactive touch panel Smartboard displays
• Upgrading to secure fiber optics connections inside each conference room
• Installing and Programming interactive touch pad controls
• Enhancing connectivity across multiple locations
