Flash Capacity Shipments Drive Growth for Storage Systems Market in 2Q16, According to Dell'Oro Group

REDWOOD CITY, Calif., Sept. 7, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- A recently published report from Dell'Oro Group, the trusted source for market information about the telecommunications, networks, and data center IT industries, revealed flash capacity shipments drove growth for the Storage Systems market in 2Q16, growing almost 90 percent year-over-year (Y/Y). Vendors like Pure Systems and Nimble Storage benefitted from the growth.

"Both All Flash Arrays and Hybrid Flash Arrays drove flash capacity shipments of External Storage Systems. Vendors with high flash exposure benefitted.
