CASC offers an individualized approach to learning, using award-winning curriculum to ensure every student receives an exceptional learning experience. CASC is open to all students in grades K through 12 who reside in South Carolina. The school provides courses in language arts/English, math, science, history, world languages, art and music, as well as core, elective, and Advanced Placement (AP) courses for high school students. State-certified teachers provide instruction, guidance and support, and regularly interact with students and parents via email, web-based classrooms, online discussions, phone and face-to-face meetings. As a public school option, there is no tuition.

"I have watched my children blossom with CASC more so than any other school they have attended," said Ada Murcier, whose children, Lydia and Logan, will be starting 7th and 5th grade, respectively, this fall. "Their growth has been amazing, not only educationally but in their overall confidence. With the support from teachers and staff, we can truly work at the pace we need and make sure we master all the material."

New for the 2016-2017 school year, CASC will ffer the Destinations Career Program, giving students exposure to relevant technical and specialty trade skills from career technical education (CTE) courses built around two career areas: Business and Administration and Information Technology. These engaging, content-rich courses expand the traditional education experience and maximize a student's ability to succeed in the community and workforce. Successful completion of these courses may help students prepare for industry certification tests after graduation.

At CASC advanced learners have the ability to move faster in subjects at which they excel, while students who need more time to grasp a concept can do so at a pace better suited for their needs. Students who need extra instructional support or want to participate in small group tutoring can take advantage of CASC Learning Labs located in Columbia, Greenville, Myrtle Beach, Charleston, Aiken, Florence and Rock Hill.

CASC also provides live online access to the small group tutoring sessions that take place at its Learning Labs. This means that students working independently at home can access and become part of the tutoring sessions taking place at one of the CASC Learning Labs. This is in addition to the live, online Class Connect sessions with state-certified teachers that students are required to attend as part of their daily school schedule.

"Our teachers and staff are focused on the individual needs and interests of our students and families, and work to ensure our students reach their academic goals," said David Crook, Head of School at Cyber Academy of South Carolina. "As the only virtual charter school in the state offering a blended learning experience using both technology and in-person support, CASC helps students learn the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond."

Earlier this summer, CASC challenged enrolled families to prevent summer 'brain drain' by offering students free access to LearnBop, a self-paced solution that simulates a one-on-one, personalized math tutoring experience. The award-winning online program will continue to be available free of charge throughout the fall and can be used alongside the regular math curriculum to build math skills or prepare for high-level exams.

CASC is still accepting enrollments for this fall. To learn more about enrollment requirements visit http://casc.k12.com/ and follow on Facebook.
