Joe Sanzo, Chief Network Officer, Rivada Networks (Photo: Business Wire) Mr. Sanzo has almost 30 years' experience in the wireless sector, having begun his career with NASA in 1989, and gone on to serve with Lucent Technologies as managing vice president from 1995 to 2001. He has led the deployment and operation of networks in multiple countries around the world, including Saudi Arabia, China, Australia, and the United States. In his new role, he will oversee network deployment and operations for Rivada Networks. Joe will also serve as Chief Network Officer of Rivada Mercury, the company formed by Rivada and its partners to bid for the contract to build, operate, maintain and sustain the nationwide public-safety broadband network for FirstNet. Rivada'sOpen Access Wireless Marketplace allows bandwidth to be bought, sold, and traded at the wholesale level, lowering barriers to entry into wireless and ensuring that no mobile network capacity is wasted.
