Multi-Organization Statement After the FCC Approved the Wireless Hearing Aid Compatibility Rules

WASHINGTON, Aug. 4, 2016 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- In response to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) approving a Report and Order that would implement changes to the scope of the wireless hearing aid compatibility rules, Competitive Carriers Association (CCA), CTIA, Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), National Association of the Deaf (NAD), Telecommunications for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing (TDI) and Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA) issued the following joint statement:
