New Vuzix Industrial Partner (VIP) Ubimax Receives First European Shipment of M300 Smart Glasses

ROCHESTER, N.Y., July 28, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ: VUZI), a leading supplier of Smart Glasses, Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies and products for the consumer and enterprise markets, is pleased to announce that Ubimax, a leading supplier for industrial wearable computing solutions, has joined the Vuzix Industrial Partner (VIP) program. As one of the first to join this by-invitation only program, Ubimax's designation as a VIP signals the first European shipments of Vuzix next generation M300 Smart Glasses. Early access has enabled Ubimax to integrate the M300's leading edge capabilities with its market leading enterprise solutions and soon showcase it to their many customers across a wide range of industrial sectors.

Known for pioneering smart glasses in the logistics industry with the now famous DHL deployment of xPick on Vuzix M100 Smart Glasses, Ubimax has grown to include the worldwide first Enterprise Wearable Computing Suite of industrial applications including xMake for manufacturing, xInspect for maintenance, and xAssist for remote assistance.
