Red River Hosts 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic

Red River, a leading technology integrator, hosted its 10th Annual Charity Golf Classic at the Quechee Club's 2 championship golf courses in Vermont on July 14th. The yearly tournament is the primary fundraiser for the Red River Charitable Foundation (RRCF), Red River's non-profit 501 (c)(3) charitable organization.

"We've seen our Annual Golf Classic grow each year in both size and sponsor generosity, and our 10th anniversary topped all expectations," said Kim Vacca, Director of the Red River Charitable Foundation. "Everyone is excited to spend the day out on the golf course, but positively impacting the lives of our scholarship recipients is what the RRCF is all about."

In addition to supporting US military veterans transitioning to civilian life, RRCF provides opportunities for students in middle school through college interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) fields with scholarships, internships, mentoring and donations of IT equipment.

Red River's scholarship recipients and their families were the guests of honor at the 10th Annual Golf Classic. The students underwent a lengthy application process and received monetary awards from RRCF for college tuition and books.
