CTC Global Names Peter Hughes VP Business Development, Western Europe


Today, CTC Global announced that it has signed an agreement with Xenstra Consulting based in Germany to lead Business Development efforts in Western Europe. Managing Director for Xenstra, Peter Hughes is responsible for expanding CTC's (News - Alert) presence in Germany, France, Benelux, UK, Ireland and Scandinavia. Mr. Hughes and his associate Katarina Hughes Straka will work very closely with the current CTC business development team and will report to Anne McDowell, Vice President Commercial Operations.

"With a substantial engineering and business development background in the international energy sector, Peter Hughes (News - Alert) will help CTC Global's growing customer base in Western Europe learn how they can leverage the attributes of the ACCC® conductor," stated Anne McDowell, Vice President Business Commercial Operations. Ms. McDowell added: "With our Western European customers facing the substantial challenge of opening the grid to more renewables and powering a growing fleet of electric vehicles, Peter's support couldn't come at a better time. Prior to joining CTC Global, Mr. Hughes undertook diverse strategic business development projects for engineering companies in the energy and defense logistics sectors. Mr. Hughes is fluent in English, German and French and speaks a number of other European languages in varying degrees of proficiency.


Mr. Hughes holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Durham, UK and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering degree from Aston University in Birmingham, UK as part of a sandwich course undertaken at Lansing Bagnall Ltd, UK.
