Logo - http://photos.prnewswire.com/prnh/20140227/SF73524LOGO Bank Central Asia is one of the leading private banks in Indonesia, the country's biggest lender by market value and the second largest bank by assets. Bank Central Asia is focusing on business banking transactions, credit loan facilities, and financial solutions for the corporate, commercial and SME, as well as individual customers through its 1,000-plus branches across the country. The bank's new web site, which went live earlier this year, replaces a static website based on EMC Documentum technology. Its previous model was difficult to manage with content updates requiring manual, cumbersome and time consuming processes. "We are committed to provide our existing customers and the public at large with an industry-leading web experience. As part of this intention, we reviewed several market options. We have finally selected Sitecore based on its ease of use, its powerful analytics capability and ability to personalise content for our different banking target market audiences. At the same tim, Sitecore offered an attractive pricing model," said Esther Meliana, Head of Marketing Communication, Bank Central Asia. Sitecore went live following a seamless four month migration process. It is now effectively tracking website traffic as well as the impact and effectiveness of different web banner advertisements through web clicks. At the same time, Sitecore is able to identify customer journeys through the bank's different website pages. "We're also able to easily manage and update content and later in the year we plan to introduce personalization so that content can be pushed out to an individual banking customer based on their own individual specific preferences. We're ultimately aiming to benefit from having a simple, completely connected web experience management and digital marketing solution. We believe it will help us to shape every of our consumer brand experiences. As a result, our content authors will use Sitecore to seamlessly publish content to any consumer device and provide each customer with a contextual experience," said Esther. This latest deployment of Sitecore to power the bank's main customer facing website follows the initial successful deployment of Sitecore for the organisation's Prioritas Portal. The bank also plans to add additional websites to the Sitecore platform in the future. "The world of banking is changing fast. It also applies to mobile and Internet banking. Due to the increase in digital banking, we needed deep dive personalisation and automation. In due course, the site will be mobile optimised. This will provide us with powerful analytics capability which will in return enable us to continuously improve the customer's digital experience in constant manner," closed Esther.
