Specialty Benefits Management Company HealthHelp Announces New President

Leading specialty benefits management provider HealthHelp has promoted Amit Gupta, MD, to the role of president. In his new position, Gupta will oversee all aspects of the client experience including client acquisition, new program implementation, and overall relationship development and maintenance on top of retaining his duties in product development.

Gupta joined HealthHelp in March 2014 and most recently served as chief strategy and products officer. He brings more than twenty years of experience in healthcare entrepreneurship and management and business and product strategy to his new role.

Cherrill Farnsworth retains her role as the CEO and chairman of the board at HealthHelp. "I am thrilled to share the news of Dr. Gupta's promotion to HealthHelp president," said Farnsworth. "Dr. Gupta's wealth of expertise across multiple areas of healthcare business make him perfectly suited for this role. I am confident he will keep HealthHelp moving toward its goal of providing the highest quality care to patients."

Gupta's promotion allows Farnsworth to focus her attention on other areas of the business, including company growth.

"I am beyond excited to accept this new role as HealthHelp's president," Gupta said. "I have enjoyed being part of HealthHelp's focus on improved care and patient outcomes. I look forward to playing an even larger role in supporting this focus."
