Sprint Investment in the Pacific Northwest Comes to LifeIn the first five months of 2016, Sprint (NYSE: S) continues its One Sprint localization strategy by making major strides in its Pacific Northwest expansion. The carrier has established new regional sales offices in Bellevue and Beaverton, and has added more than 150 jobs within the region, including 120 retail positions. Sprint is also fueling the region's passion for soccer as an official sponsor of Copa América Centenario, bringing the excitement of international soccer to CenturyLink (News - Alert) Field in Seattle on June 4, 14 and 16. In addition, the regional team has made a donation to the Issaquah Soccer Club, a full service club serving families in Issaquah, Sammamish and surrounding communities. When the Copa América Centenario organizers were looking for a lead sponsor, Sprint jumped at the chance to bring the tournament to soccer passionate Seattle. Sprint is creating an immersive and engaging fan experience that will include an interactive digital wall, 360° photo booth where fans will get digital downloads of their photos for social sharing and charging stations. Additionally, Sprint will supply Copa América Centenario with Flag Bearers from the local community to lead the teams and referees onto the field at the start of each match.
