New VP Brings Global Business Development Experience to Entryless

Cesar Martinez has joined Entryless as Vice President of Business Development. A former director of global corporate strategy and innovation risk management at Visa, Martinez brings over 15 years of experience as a business strategist to his new role. He will join a team whose mission is to bring the simplicity of B2C credit card payments to the B2B space.

"Cesar is a force to be reckoned with," said Mike Galarza, Entryless founder and CEO. "His data-oriented approach, entrepreneurial attitude, and international perspective make him a perfect fit for everything we do at Entryless."

At Visa, Martinez developed risk mitigation plans related to mergers and acquisitions, evaluated opportunities for partnerships with emerging companies, and designed and managed multi-year initiatives across the corporation's global divisions and product portfolio.

Prior to Visa, Martinez was a management consultant at Bain & Company where he worked with industry leaders such as Intel (News - Alert) and Telefonica.

Martinez is not new to the startup environment. In addition to successfully launching and gaining sponsorship for Vamoz, an online travelmarketing startup he founded, he held leadership positions at QuinStreet, and SearchForce. "I love the energy and promise of Entryless. When a startup connects with such a massive opportunity as we have, it's always a thrilling ride," said Martinez.

Martinez, who is multilingual and has worked alongside financial industry leaders in Europe, North and South America, said that he is delighted to work with the Entryless global user base. "My career has sent me all over the world," he said, "But much of the technology shaping the world's future is being created right here in Menlo Park. Entryless seeks to revolutionize payment processing for everyone, everywhere. That's a mission I can get behind."

"Cesar gets our mission, and that is important. To everyone at Entryless, this is about our client's quality of life. Consumer payments are easy. Entryless allows business to business bill payment to be just as easy, freeing people up from unnecessary chores," said Galarza.

"Cesar shares our vision for a faster, simpler, automated accounting standard," added Galarza. "He understands why business growth needs to be a priority from our customers' standpoint, as well as our own. I couldn't ask for a better sales and biz dev partner."

Launched in 2013, Entryless offers accountants and businesses tools to automate bill processing and payments. Entryless focuses on eliminating the hassle, making bills fast and reliable. To simplify the B2B bill payment experience, Entryless receives bills from any source and synchronizes the bill information with cloud accounting software. When it comes time to pay a supplier, Entryless provides a one-click payment through various payment methods such as ACH and checks.

Martinez holds an MBA from UC Berkeley with a focus in global management as well as a BA in Economics from ITESM, Mexico's leading University in Science and Technology.
