Media Alert: Rocket Fuel Names William Cormier as Canada Country Director


Rocket Fuel (NASDAQ:FUEL), a leading Programmatic Marketing Platform provider, today announced that William Cormier has been named as the new Country Director for Canada. Cormier brings more than 20 years of management and marketing expertise to Rocket Fuel with some of Canada's largest advertisers and media companies in several vertical sectors, including automotive, consumer packaged goods (CPG), finance and retail. In his new role he will be focused on continued growth for Rocket Fuel in Canada across the agency, brand and technology landscape.

According to eMarketer's most recent report, Canadian digital ad spending is projected to grow 10 percent in 2016 to CA (News - Alert)$4.80 billion, and programmatic will account for 58 percent of total digital display ad spending in Canada. The eMarketer report also found that 2016 will be the first year when more digital display ads are bought via programmatic channels than non-programmatic in Canada.

His strong digital media background includes roles as director of digital sales at TC Media, director of business development at BV! Media, as well as Solutions Director at Quebecor Media.
