Zebra Technologies' RhoMobile App Development Platform Goes Open Source
LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill., May 4, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in solutions and services that provide real-time visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, today announced that RhoMobile Suite, its enterprise and consumer mobile app development platform, is now released to open source under the MIT License. By opening control of the software to customers, partners and the development community, Zebra is enabling developers to add features, support new operating systems (OSes), and fix bugs specific to their solutions.

- RhoMobile Suite is a set of development tools for creating data-centric, cross-platform, native mobile apps.
- Within RhoMobile Suite, the components - RhoConnect and RhoElements - will now be open source. Rhodes and RhoStudio were open sourced previously.
