Siteworx Hires Karen Forgy Hicks as Executive Vice President of Operations

Siteworx, LLC announced that Karen Forgy Hicks has joined the company as Executive Vice President of Operations. In her role, Karen oversees day-to-day operations of the company and drives quality client service by optimizing internal processes and team performance.

Karen brings 25 years of experience in business operations and project management. Prior to joining Siteworx, she held a number of leadership roles including Vice President, Chief Administration Officer at Secure Mission Soltions, later acquired by Parsons (News - Alert). In that role, she realized significant savings through quality management, process improvement and the financial oversight of multiple functions for the 600-person organization. Prior to that, she successfully established a Program Management Office supporting a $210 million portfolio for QinetiQ (News - Alert) North America. She also held leadership positions in program management at America Online and Bell Atlantic, which was rebranded as Verizon Communications in 2000.

During her tenure at AOL (News - Alert), Karen used her operations savvy to manage the development and deployment of key AOL products to over 30 million subscribers. Some of the products included the corporate metrics platform, the AOL Connectivity Service, Safety and Security Center and Computer Check-Up. She also led user interface and production teams for the launch of AOL 9.0 Optimized and the Alerts & Reminders service, which delivered 1 million daily notifications.
