Concentric Health Experience Named Manny Agency of the Year Finalist; Expands European Presence and Hires for Growth


Concentric Health Experience, an MDC Partners company and industry-leading healthcare and wellness marketing agency, today announced key milestones for 2016, including being named Manny Agency of the Year finalist and hiring executives Peter Carr and Arron O'Hare in London to grow the agency's existing European presence.

Concentric was named Manny Agency of the Year in 2011 and 2015, and this marks the agency's third consecutive, and fifth historically, nomination as a finalist. In 2015 Concentric grew 75%, increased worldwide staff 65% to 226 employees, and realized a 75% new business winning percentage. The agency deployed 13 integrated creative campaigns and launched 4 brands in 2015, yet also boasts an industry-leading employee retention rate of 88%.

Carr is the former owner of Courtney Alexander Consulting Limited, where his client roster included Pfizer, Roche Products and Grunenthal. Over his 25-year career, he has held numerous marketing and executive positions in healthcare. O'Hare has over 25 years of experience in healthcare advertising agencies, having spent the past 13 years at DJM PAN Unlimited. During this time he has worked across a multitude of therapy areas for both UK and Global clients - large and small, and has led his teams to produce award-winning creativity.

"A broad understanding of both clinical and commercial issues is a must, but in addition, an agency must be able to identify when global needs to become local. In addition to filling these two key executive roles, Concentric has added Ed Cowen as Executive Vice President and Head of Concentric Health Intelligence, the agency's award-winning strategic insight and research arm, and 33 new employees to its New York headquarters, in a variety of roles within operations, creative and strategy.
