Gogo Announces Affordable Hourly Rate Pricing Plans Starting at $39 for Turboprop and Light Jet MarketsBROOMFIELD, Colo., April 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Gogo Inc. (NASDAQ: GOGO), the leading provider of in-flight connectivity and wireless entertainment solutions to the global aero market, today announces new hourly pricing plans for turboprop and light jet operators, making connectivity affordable and predictable for airframes of all types. Starting at $39 per hour, the new service plans provide the convenience of in-flight connectivity with predictable pricing – no overage fees and no surprises. With the new plans there is no need to buy blocks of hours and no minimum monthly fee. After paying for the first hour, customers then pay only for what they use and incur fees only when the service is being utilized. "After speaking with owners in the turboprop and light jet markets, the feedback we received was that predictable pricing plans are important," said Andy Geist, senior vice president of sales for Gogo Business Aviation. "So we created the new hourly plans with the customer in mind to offer plans with predictability and no overages." Leveraging its long-standing expertise in the business aircraft market, Gogo Business Aviation's new plans open up connectivity options for turboprops and light jets at rates previously not offered. Two service plans will be available starting July 15: the ATG 1000 at $39 per hour and the ATG 2000 at $99 per hour. "The predictability and affordability of these plans make it easy for owners and operators to budget for in-cabin connectivity services using the Gogo ATG 1000 or ATG 2000 systems," said John Wade, Gogo Business Aviation's executive vice president and general manager. "This fundamentally changes the pricing structure for adding connectivity on light jets and turboprops." ATG 1000 Select cockpit and operational applications can be used with the ATG 1000 system through Gogo's partnerships with the industry's leading app providers: FlightAware, ForeFlight, Honeywell and WSI Corporation. Pilots connected to the Gogo system are able to receive continuously updated flight information and decision-support tools to help streamline their aeronautical decision-making. The ATG 1000 is also compatible with the Gogo OnePhone cabin handset. A complete ATG 1000 equipment package is available for $35,000 MSRP, excluding installation and certification costs. If a customer with an ATG 1000 system wants to add Internet connectivity at a later date, the ATG 1000 is software-upgradable, providing the unique ability to add connectivity features, such as Web browsing, at any time.
