Tresys Welcomes Kemper as SVP of Business Development and SalesTresys Technology, a global leader in cyber defense, announced today that Jackson Kemper III has joined the company as senior vice president of business development and sales. In this role, Kemper will be responsible for managing a team of Tresys sales directors and overseeing territory, pipeline and competitive analyses, as well as channel and overall performance management. With a focus on commercial and federal sectors, he will strategically drive the team to increase sales activity and position the company for long-term growth. Kemper comes to Tresys with more than 23 years of experience in federal sector business development, as well as deep technology expertise. He combines his technical, strategic and product innovation experiene with expertise in government contracting to develop sales strategies that meet demanding requirements and drive revenue. Prior to joining Tresys, Kemper was owner of JK3 Associates, where he provided market strategy development for the U.S. Air Force and Defense Information Systems Agency for a multibillion-dollar provider of outsourced IT services. Earlier, Kemper led efforts to secure key military contracts at ViaSat (News - Alert) as director of global business development. He also worked as vice president of Department of Defense and federal sales at Harris Caprock, senior vice president of sales at Inmarsat (News - Alert) Government, and vice president of business development and government programs at Iridium Satellite. Kemper earned a Bachelor of Science from the management honors program at Boston College and a Master of Arts in international relations from Georgetown University.
