Award-Winning TravelTracker Just Got Better

TREVOSE, Penn., April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- International SOS and Control Risks have today unveiled the latest functionality for the world's most advanced online traveler tracking and risk mitigation solution, TravelTracker. The new functionality provides organizations with a comprehensive, accurate overview of the locations of all their travelers, regardless of how and where their trips were booked.

Referred to as Forward Travel Itinerary, the feature reduces the burden on the traveler or client administrator of manually entering details when travel is booked outside of the corporate travel agency. In addition to being faster and easier for the traveler to submit their itineraries to TravelTracker, forwarding travel confirmations also greatly reduces the potential for manual data entry errors.

Tim Daniel, Group Executive Vice President of International SOS, said:

"Knowing where your people are is essential in times of crises. This functionality supports organizations that may not have corporate travel agencies in place. In addition, the new feature makes it easier for travelers to ensure their organizations can locate them should they choose to add a few personal days of travel to see the sights while traveling on business or during studies abroad, as these trips are often booked via third party sites and at the traveler's personal expense."

Travelers are able to forward confirmation emails of air, hotel and car reservations to be seamlessly integrated with TravelTracker. The email integration is supported by WorldMate, Inc., a Carlson Wagonlit Travel company.

Amir Kirshenboim, WorldMate CEO, aid:

"We are excited to work on the TravelTracker integration. The project leverages the WorldMate Email Parsing API which allowed us to integrate quickly and results in a world-class experience for International SOS' and Control Risks' customers."

Forward Travel Itinerary is now part of the core TravelTracker solution and complements the TravelTracker MyTrips tool as an alternative method for travelers when submitting travel details.
