China Renaissance Appoints Andrew MacInnes as Chief Executive Officer of China Renaissance Securities (US)


NEW YORK, April 6, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- China Renaissance today announced that Mr. Andrew MacInnes has joined China Renaissance as Chief Executive Officer of China Renaissance Securities (US), based in its New York Office. Mr. MacInnes will report to Mr. Jason Lam, President of China Renaissance Securities (HK).

Mr. MacInnes is an entrepreneurial capital markets and fintech leader with significant investment banking experience. Since 2013, Mr. MacInnes has been the CEO and founder at Brilliquid, a boutique fintech company providing financial advisory services. Immediately prior to founding Brilliquid, he served as President at magicJack VocalTec, a Nasdaq-listed technology company.

Previously at CIBC Oppenheimer, Mr. MacInnes started the equity-linked and convertible origination effort before being appointed Head of US Equity Capital Markets/Syndicate and Head of Asia Investment Banking. In those roles, Mr. MacInnes worked with many Chinese "new economy" companies that successfully completed US initial public offerings. Mr. MacInnes began his career at Salomon Brothers in the Bond Portfolio Analysis Group and worked in New York, London and Tokyo. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Monetary Economics from The London School of Economics and is a CFA Charterholder.
