Guidance Software Anticipates Record Attendance at Enfuse™ Conference 2016

Guidance Software, makers of EnCase®, the gold standard in forensic security, today announced the availability of the full agenda of its Enfuse™ Conference, formerly CEIC. The annual event, which will be held from May 23-26 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, is one of the largest international gatherings of multi-national organizations and government agencies focused on current trends and recent industry news in cyber security, information risk and digital investigations. Enfuse provides professionals with a spectrum of keynotes, peer-to-peer sessions, hands-on labs, track sessions, tutorials and seminars, along with networking and social activities.

"Now in its 16th year, Enfuse is the only conference in the world that brings together nearly 2,000 IT security professionals, digital investigators and public policy makers to share ideas about how to reduce digital risk and bring peace of mind to end users," said Michael Harris (News - Alert), chief marketing officer for Guidance Software. "This year, we expect record attendance. Topics will address the Internet of Things, industrial control systems, social, mobile, information risk, healthcare, automotive and cloud. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Jennifer Golbeck, will set the stage for how social behavior is critical to the new security paradigm. In addition, several participating vendors, including Guidance, will be unveiling new solutions."

Patrick Dennis, president and CEO of Guidance Software, will deliver the opening keynote on Tuesday, May 24. Computer scientist Dr. Jennifer Golbeck, director emeritus of the Human-Computer Interaction Lab and Director of the Social Intelligence Lab at the University of Maryland, will deliver the industry keynote on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Golbeck is well known for her work on computational social network analysis. Her research has influenced industry, government and the military. She is a frequent contributor to prominent news organizations including Slate, The Atlantic and NPR (News - Alert).

Enfuse will also feature original research from Caltech's Center for Data Driven Discovery, and the research wing of Guidance Software, which have partnered to advance the detection of unknown malware.

Participants will have an opportunity to learn more about this collaborative effort and how the latest findings could give organizations an edge over targeted attacks and state sponsored cyber terrorism.

Attendees will be able to select from a record-breaking 125 sessions in 11 tracks featuring the world's foremost experts in the legal, corporate, education, law enforcement and government sectors discussing bes practices, success stories, labs and practical solutions on how to identify and defend against evolving cyber threats.
