Ralph Folz Joins Codeship Board of Directors

Codeship, provider of hosted continuous integration solutions that empower software build and test automation, today announced the appointment of WordStream CEO Ralph Folz to its Board of Directors. Folz has immense experience in the fields of digital media, paid search advertising, software as a service, social media, and entrepreneurship.

Folz guides Wordstream's product and business strategy, spearheads business development initiatives and oversees day-to-day operations. He joined WordStream's Board in August 2009 and was elected the company's CEO by the Board of Directors in August 2010. Prior to that, Folz founded and eventually sold Molecular Inc., an interactive web design and marketing agency to Aegis (now part of Dentsu). Following the acquisition, he spent two years as Global Chief Operating Officer.

"Ralph is an experienced entrepreneur and has great depth running and advising innovative technology businesses," said Moritz Plassnig, CEO of Codeship. "e are excited to have him join our Board and look forward to his guidance and support as Codeship grows at a rapid pace and increase engagements with large enterprise customers."

"This is an exciting time for technology startups in the B2B space. Codeship has done a fantastic job of identifying and solving its customers' critical pain points and delivering great value," said Ralph Folz. "I am thrilled to join the company's Board and hope to be a part of their expansion as they continue to succeed in achieving new business milestones."

Folz enjoys mentoring and advising venture-backed startups in the Boston area. He also previously served on the Board of Backupify (News - Alert), a leading provider of comprehensive backup, recovery and business continuity solutions used by managed service providers worldwide, prior to its sale to Datto.
