USA is the Partner Country of HANNOVER MESSE this year, and President Obama will appear at the opening cermony on Sunday 24 April. Numbering 211 (and counting) entities, the 2016 delegation represents the largest-ever US presence at Hannover Messe. 177 commercial and research firms plus 34 governmental economic development organizations (EDOs) currently comprise the US delegation.

Exhibiting in the Partner Country USA Automation Tech & IT Pavilion, Patton will showcase solutions for industrial communications infrastructure and sensor & controls connectivity, as well as wired and wireless Internet access solutions for "industrial things".

Patton will highlight the CopperLink CL2300E light-industrial Ethernet Extender. Ideal for extending long-range Ethernet (LRE) segments in machine-to-machine (MTM) and industrial-Internet-of-things (IIoT) applications, the CL2300E employs state-of-the-art technology to deliver robust Ethernet connections over copper media with optimum speed and distance performance.

Because it operates over any installed copper infrastructure, Patton's CL2300E eliminates the expense and delay of installing new cabling when interconnecting industrial WiFi (News - Alert) Access Points (WAPs), IP Cameras, programmable line controllers (PLCs), meters, sensors, and similar IP-enabled devices with SCADA systems or remote industrial-Ethernet LANs.

Patton will also unveil the new IEEE (News - Alert) 802.3af compliant CopperLink CL1100, ideal for such high-bandwidth applications as IP-based security cameras, intercoms, and phones.

Operating over existing voice-grade twisted-pair or coaxial cable, Patton's PoE extender delivers autosensed/negotiated Ethernet speeds of 10 or 100 Mbps plus 12 watts of power-over-Ethernet at distances up to 2,000 feet.

Patton will exhibit in Hall 11, Booth C69-4. Visitors who wish to schedule a personal meeting with a Patton executive are invited to submit a request.

In related news, last week Patton announced a technology solution that solves the ROI challenge of EMV compliance for US fuel retailers.

Incorporated in Maryland since 1984, Patton is a privately-held, family-owned and operated business that employs about 150 workers.
