IBM Expands Mobile Cloud Capabilities With Test Automation Service From SOASTA

SOASTA, the leader in performance analytics, announced today that developers building mobile apps on the MobileFirst Platform can now use mobile testing offerings from SOASTA.

SOASTA's Mobile Test Cloud and TouchTest can record and analyze the quality and performance of mobile applications against the latest mobile device and O/S combinations. Specific details of user interactions on the mobile device can be tested and optimized in real time for peak performance and quality faster and more often. Developers building apps with the MobileFirst Platform can improve collaboration and shorten release cycles by deploying SOASTA TouchTest and Mobile Device Cloud with the most popular MobileFirst development frameworks and CI/deployment automation tools, including native, Cordova, Dojo, JQuery Mobile, Jenkins and IBM (News - Alert) Urbancode.

SOASTA's Device Cloud delivers access to hundreds of mobile device and O/S combinations, with flexible options for public, private or on-premise access, allowing developers to focus on creating an optimal customer experience for all of their users and eliminating the expense of building and operating device testing infrastructure.

"SOASTA has greatly accelerated our time-to-market while ensuring reliability of our mobile apps. Using the SOASTA TouchTest and CloudTest solutions, we were able to test our apps for every code change, on any number of real devices, while providing continuous feedback to our developers on the quality and reliability of our apps. We have gained a real competitive advantage in today's mobile marketplace," said Sunitha Nidamanuri, Sears Manager of Test Automation.
