Asavie Partners with EMC IoT Innovation Testbed; Joins Industrial Internet Consortium


Mobile World Congress (News - Alert) - Asavie, the provider of next generation enterprise mobility management and Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity solutions, announced today that its Asavie PassBridge™ IoT Connectivity Platform, underpins the INFINITE IoT innovation platform testbed led by EMC and Vodafone (News - Alert) Ireland. Asavie PassBridge™ delivers the underlying connectivity platform for the INFINITE testbed enabling companies to road-test their machine-to-machine (M2M) and IoT projects across mobile cellular networks prior to scaling into production.

Established by EMC (News - Alert), in partnership with Vodafone, the INFINITE testbed plays a key role in enabling innovation, insights and business opportunities for Industrial IoT developments across a wide range of industries in Europe. Asavie also announced they are now a member of the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC), the organization that catalyzes and coordinates the priorities of enabling technologies of the Industrial Internet. INFINITE is the first large-scale IIC-approved industrial IoT innovation platform in Europe.

Asavie PassBridge™ is an IoT platform that aggregates connectivity from devices across multiple dierse networks into one single network, managing and securing the data as it flows across this network to companies' internal systems. With Asavie PassBridge™ enterprises can deploy and scale their M2M projects by securely managing their connection to the internet, as well as interconnecting these devices to capture useful insights and ultimately build valuable IoT solutions.
