Therapeutic Research Center Added to GSA Federal Suppliers List

Therapeutic Research Center, a leading provider of drug therapy and medication management recommendation and education solutions for prescribers, pharmacists, and technicians, today announced that it has been added to the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA (News - Alert)) federal supplier list as an authorized vendor of its drug therapy and medication management digital recommendation and education services.

The new listing on the GSA schedule will allow federal, state, and local agencies to more easily contract for Therapeutic Research products through the GSA contracting vehicle. GSA schedules are open-ended, five-year contracts listing the prices the government has negotiated to pay for suppliers' products and services. Vendors must pass through an arduous and lengthy review process in order to be approved for GSA listing. Buyers save time and reach better purchasing decisions by procuring through the pre-approved list of suppliers.

"We are proud to provide our trusted, relevant, and unbiased advice to the prescribers, pharmacists, and technicians who serve our nation's veterans and active military, at home and abroad," said Wes Crews, Chief Executive Officer of Therapeutic Research Center. "Now that we hold a GSA schedule our government customers and the patients they serve will benefit from improved care delivery and more positive outcomes."

Government agencies and other organizations using the GSA schedule for purchases may now contract subscriptions for Prescriber's Letter, Pharmacist's Letter, Pharmacy Technician's Letter, and Pharmacy Technicians University through GSA Contract Number GS-02F-017CA, Schedule 76, Publication Media.

Agencies procuring subscriptions for Prescriber's Letter, Pharmacist's Letter, Pharmacy Technician's Letter, and Pharmacy Technicians University through the GSA schedule contract will benefit from a greatly reduced acquisition timeline, pre-negotiated rates and terms, and can simplify the sometimes cumbersome RFP/approval processes, all of which make selecting Therapeutic Research Center attractive to government decision-makers.

Therapeutic Research Center serves over 400,000 health professionals. Every national pharmacy chain in the United States subscribes to the Center's services, as do most regional pharmacies, national food chains, and national mass merchandiser chains, along with thousands of hospitals and health systems.

For over three decades, Therapeutic Research Center has assisted health professionals in delivering high-quality patient care recommendations based on clinically relevant analysis and interpretation of evidence-based data resources and peer review. The company's scope encompasses a wide variety of therapeutic subject matter with an emphasis on pharmaceutical and natural agents, including prescription medications, OTC drugs, dietary supplements, medical foods, and related therapies.
