LightCyber Appoints Claudio Perugini as Senior Vice President of Sales to Expand Global Field and Channel Organization


LightCyber, a leading provider of Behavioral Attack Detection solutions, today announced that it has hired Claudio Perugini to the newly created role of Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales. Perugini will focus on expanding the global field and channel organization and driving the next stage of growth for the company. In the past year, LightCyber has experienced significant growth while achieving important milestones and validation of its innovative Magna Behavioral Attack Detection platform. The Magna platform provides customers worldwide with unmatched security visibility into active attacks that have circumvented conventional threat prevention infrastructure.

With multiple sales teams already successfully established, LightCyber has brought Claudio Perugini into the newly created Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales leadership role to rapidly expand the sales organization to meet growing interest around the world. Perugini will focus on developing the field teams, extend the LightCyber Channel Alliance Partner (LCAP) channel partner program and scale the initial success into multiple geographies aound the world. Perugini has over 30 years of sales leadership experience and most recently was the VP of Sales, Americas at Gigamon (News - Alert). While at Gigamon, he managed sales from pre-IPO well into post-IPO maturity, developing a multi-tier leadership structure and growing the sales team by 14 times with a retention rate of 98%. His team tripled the average deal size over a span of four years and delivered more than 80% of the total company revenue. Prior to Gigamon Perugini was a founding member of Fluke Networks (News - Alert) where he held several sales leadership roles for 27 years.



Over the past year, LightCyber has:

  • Grown revenue by 480%, with WW customer growth of 265% and 667% US customer growth
  • Tripled the number of employees and established its US headquarters in Silicon Valley
  • Named a Representative Vendor in two Gartner (News - Alert) Market Guides: User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA) and Endpoint Detection and Remediation (EDR)
