Banner Growth for Incident Response Industry Leader Resilient Systems

Resilient Systems, the industry standard solution for incident response (IR), capped a successful 2015 that surpassed the excellent growth the company experienced the previous year. With executive team member additions, global expansion, and platform enhancements, Resilient accelerated its ability to help organizations strengthen their cyber resilience.

An extended network of channel partnerships across the globe, more than 50 in 20 countries, helped to drive the company's rapid growth - increasing its year-over-year sales by more than three hundred percent while more than doubling its overall number of customer engagements. Resilient's success is a testament to the growing importance that today's enterprises place on cyber resilience.

At the recent Gartner Symposium ITxpo, Gartner (News - Alert) predicted that by 2020, 30 percent of IT budgets will be spent on risk, security, and compliance. The firm also noted that companies should invest more in resilience, and should adopt a "detect and respond" approach. As the number of security incidents rise, an increasing amount of teams are implementing Resilient's platform to transform their security.

"Organizations are truly starting to understand that they need to be prepared in order to prevail in the face of cyberattacks," said John Bruce, CEO and Co-Founder of Resilient Systems. "It's all about proficient response capability - and our software helps them do just that. They can react quickly and decisively in the event of a breach, and handle issues before they cause real, irreparable damage. Enabling greater cyber resilience is our mission, and we're honored that so many leading organizations turn to us."

Resilient announced the opening of a permanent European HQ in Reading, UK - signaling a significant expansion in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) under General Manager, Paul Ayers.

There were several platform enhancements, including the launch of Action Module, which enables advanced incident response by connecting with installed systems, supporting automatic execution of custom actions, and providing the tools and intelligence to orchestrate rapid and effective response.

Version 24 of Resilient's Incident Response Platform (IRP) shipped in November. Version 24 is the most advanced and mature version yet - featuring integrations with IBM's (News - Alert) X-Force Exchange threat intelligence sharing platform, an advanced integration of its IRP with IBM's security intelligence technology and an integration with HP's ArcSight (News - Alert), enabling organizations to gain insight more quickly and respond more intelligently to attacks. The release also incorporates new features to help large enterprises quicken large-scale deployments - including LDAP support, configuration migration, high availability, and dynamic email parsing.

Several key executives joined the team in 2015. Retired Raytheon (News - Alert) Chairman and CEO, Bill Swanson, joined the company's Board of Directors and the company strengthened its financial and marketing operations by hiring Karen Higgins as CFO and Maria Battaglia as VP of Marketing.

The company was named a "2015 Emerging Vendor" by industry publication, CRN; was recognized by Frost & Sullivan (News - Alert) with a "CIO Impact Award for Data and Network Resilience;" and was voted one of the Boston Business Journal's "Best Places to Work for 2015."

"As 2015 showed, we're firmly in the decade of incident response. Organizations are no longer just thinking about response, but actively working to get even better, faster, and smarter at it," said Bruce Schneier, security expert and Resilient's Chief Technology Officer. "As an industry, we've made enormous progress advancing cyber resilience, and we expect 2016 to be another marquee year."
