U.S. Security Care Appoints John Gooley


U.S. Security Care (USSC) has appointed John Gooley to lead consulting services in the Philadelphia area and the surrounding suburbs. Gooley is a three-decade veteran of the Lower Merion police department and an expert in fraud investigation, personal and institutional protection and crisis planning and management.

Gooley served in the police department of Lower Merion Township in Montgomery County Pennsylvania for over 28 years. He rose from the rank of patrol officer to supervisor of communications, patrol and special investigations. Along the way, he served as a supervisory special detective ith the Montgomery County District Attorney's Drug Task Force specializing in surveillance and plainclothes drug interdiction.



Gooley is a certified protection professional (CPP) through the American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS). The CPP is an internationally recognized, globally accredited program and recognized safety act designation from the US Department of Homeland Security. Certification requires mastery of core security skills essential to the best practice of security management.

In addition to the CPP, Mr. Gooley holds a Master's of Science Degree in Criminal Justice, specializing in security management, from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia. He is also a certified fraud examiner (CFE) through the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
