T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods Holiday Campaign - Bring Back the Holidays - Imagines a World Where the Holidays Are About People Again

FRAMINGHAM, Mass., Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- With seven-in-ten Americans (69%)[1] saying that spending time with family and friends is what they most look forward to during the holidays, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods are celebrating the values that make the season truly special by launching "Bring Back the Holidays," a campaign that focuses on people and creates opportunities to bring them together.

"There are few moments throughout the year when family and friends are in the same place at the same time, and we want people to put value on what really matters during the holidays...these special times together," said Gina Bollus, spokesperson for T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods. "Our stores offer thoughtful gifts at amazing prices every day so that you can cherish that precious time with your family and friends and shop on your time, instead of rushing out for the short-lived holiday deal."

In the new campaign, T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods imagine a world where door busters refer to loved ones pouring through your front door and the four-letter word that defines the season is L-O-V-E and not S-A-L-E.

To kick off our holiday campaign, all T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods stores helped raise money for over 130 food banks across the country, with 100% of the dollars raised going back to food banks in local communities. With the help of our generous customers and The TJX Foundation, we will be able to donate nearly $2 million dollars to help feed the hungry this holiday season.

Recognizing the importance of spending time with loved ones, all T.J.Maxx, Marshalls ad HomeGoods stores will remain closed on Thanksgiving so that associates can spend the holiday with their families.

Bring Back the Holidays Campaign Offers Real Life, Meaningful Moments this Holiday Season

T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods are also taking to Twitter to offer up a different kind of coupon this holiday season - redeemable for special holiday memories with loved ones.  From sending people home for the holidays, to helping those in need of holiday cheer deck the halls of their home, the Twitter campaign will bring friends and family together. Each Monday for the next three weeks, our stores will  invite followers to share how @TJMaxx, @Marshalls and @HomeGoods can help them or a loved one bring back the holidays, using #BringBackHolidays and #contest to be entered for a chance to win. The social media campaign includes:

  • Get Me Home! (November 16 – 20): 20 people that need help getting home so they can spend time with their loved ones will be given a $2,000 travel gift card to go toward holiday travel arrangements.
  • Holiday Saver (November 23 – 27): T.J.Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods will transform the 3 winners' homes into a festive atmosphere, complete with twinkling lights and perfectly wrapped gifts.
  • Gifts to Give Back (November 30December 4): 5 selfless and inspirational people who are always giving of themselves will be given a special holiday delivery filled with thoughtful and unique gifts that focus on the person that's opening the present, not what's inside the gift box.
