AdRoll Drives the Average Platform Cost-Per-Click Down 35 Percent with Latest BidIQ Release

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- AdRoll, the performance advertising platform, today announced strong results through its platform with the release of Chopin, the latest version of its proprietary bidding algorithm, BidIQTM. Chopin drove better average results for AdRoll advertisers across the board, achieving 35 percent lower CPC and a 39 percent higher CTR on average over the last four months, compared to its predecessor, Beethoven.

Customers across the board are receiving significant performance improvements based on both clicks and conversions. For example, OneStop, a leading digital agency that represents premium retail brands such as Frye, 7 For All Mankind and Dolce Vita, reported that cost-per-click (CPC) went down by 28 percent while click-through-rate (CTR) more than doubled. As a result, OneStop drove an average 40 percent lower cost-per-acquisition for its advertisers.

"AdRoll's performance is driving strong incremental sales for our retail brands," said Josh Miguel, digital marketing manager at OneStop. "We're really happy with the ROI we've been able to drive through AdRoll's platform, all while making sure we're being smart abou brand safety and frequency capping."

Through advanced machine learning, Chopin creates statistical models to understand the impact between site activity, frequency of ads shown, and propensity to buy. As a result, campaigns are more efficient by reducing wasted impressions and reallocating budget to users who are more likely to click and convert. Using aggregated data from more than 20,000 advertisers, Chopin better anticipates when people will be motivated by an ad and at what frequency they benefit from seeing an ad.

"AdRoll is pushing the boundaries of what's possible in advertising using massive data sets and artificial intelligence," said Valentino Volonghi, CTO at AdRoll. "As a company we are committed to solving for the industry's biggest challenges by providing our customers with continuous innovation towards increased ROI and improved relevancy. Chopin is our next step on this mission."

This latest release furthers AdRoll's vision of making sophisticated marketing technology available to all advertisers of all sizes, through an intuitive, easy-to-use solution. AdRoll's BidIQ Chopin is available immediately across the company's entire programmatic inventory including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google and iAd.
