Easy to set up, the ZeroWire G2 solution features an advanced point-to-point tracking system that keeps the transmitter and receivr locked together, avoiding signal loss when one or both of the units are repositioned during a clinical procedure. Intelligently designed with a 45-degree upward orientation, the antenna directs the wireless signal away from any potential obstacles, reflecting wireless waves from the ceiling to the intended destination.

"We are driven to innovate new technologies that give clinical teams the flexibility, ease-of-use, and time-saving efficiencies they are looking for in critical care applications," said Darko Spoljaric, Vice President of Global Marketing at NDS. "We are confident that the new ZeroWire G2 platform will become the adopted standard by facilities that see the value of imaging mobility while eliminating cables and wires."

Designed to co-exist with other medical and non-medical devices, ZeroWire G2 utilizes a wide frequency spectrum out of the range of equipment such as electro-cautery. ZeroWire G2 may improve procedure room safety by removing cables that can become tripping hazards, and may also shorten turnaround time in between cases by reducing cable cleaning requirements. ZeroWire G2 is FDA 510(k) cleared.
