AWS Community Hero, Lynn Langit, to Speak at AWS re:Invent 2015 on Simplified Management and Cloud Backup in Amazon S3 and Amazon Glacier


NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Sept. 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- CloudBerry Lab™, a vendor of backup and management solutions for cloud storage services, today announced that AWS Community Hero, Lynn Langit, will present a session at the AWS re:Invent 2015 conference. The session, which is on Simplified Management and Cloud Backup in Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Glacier, will take place on Wednesday, October 7 at 11:00 a.m. in the room Delfino 4105 at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas.

CloudBerry Lab(TM) provides cloud-based backup and file management services to small and mid-sized businesses (SMBs).

In this session, attendees will see how to effectively use Amazon S3 and Amazon Glacier in different use cases, along with tips on how to get additional value out of Amazon Glacier. Attendees will learn how to use powerful features such as lifecycle policies, versioning, and website hosting, as well as see best practices for security in action, including correct usage of IAM users/groups and security policies. Typical use cases include using AWS storage for data backup, archiving, data synchronization, and as a file server in the cloud. CloudBerry Lab will also be showcaing a new disaster recovery feature during the session. This new feature will be released as part of CloudBerry Backup 4.5.



Lynn Langit is a consultant in the Southern California area focused on big data and cloud architecture. In addition to having designed many production AWS solutions, Langit has created and delivered technical content about the practicalities of working with the AWS Cloud at developer conferences worldwide. She has also created a series of technical AWS Cloud screencasts on YouTube. Along with her professional cloud work, Langit is the co-founder and a primary courseware author with the global non-profit, Teaching Kids Programming.
