IEEE BTS Retains Wall Street Communications to Conduct Global Promotional Campaign for 2015 IEEE Broadcast Symposium

SALT LAKE CITY, Sept. 28, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The IEEE Broadcast Technology Society (BTS), a technical society and council dedicated to advancing electrical and electronic engineering for the broadcast industry, has chosen Wall Street Communications to provide comprehensive marketing, promotion, and public relations services for the 2015 IEEE Broadcast Symposium. Scheduled for Oct. 13-16 at the Caribe Royale Hotel in Orlando, Florida, the symposium is an annual gathering of broadcast engineers from the U.S. and around the world for technical sessions, networking, and knowledge transfer.

"The IEEE Broadcast Symposium is the Society's marquee event and one of the most important programs on our yearly calendar. In order to promote it effectively, we were looking for much more than a consultant — we needed to enlist a partner that could serve as an extension of our internal team," said Amanda Temple, program specialist, IEEE BTS. "With its deep industry knowledge, outstanding track record in developing creative and effective media and marketing strategies, and ability to draw from all key marketing communications disciplines, Wall Street Communications is the ideal partner."

To support the 2015 IEEE Broadcast Symposium, Wall Street Communications has developed and is executing a campaign that leverages and maximizes promotional opportunities in alignment with the IEEE BTS' overall marketingcommunications goals and objectives. Through the four-stage campaign, Wall Street Communications is building awareness of IEEE BTS with a goal of increasing both Symposium attendance and Society membership.

"The IEEE Broadcast Symposium is one of the world's preeminent technical conferences on broadcasting technology, bringing together leading experts to present a timely, exciting, and informative three-day program," said Sunny Branson, account director at Wall Street Communications. "Working with the IEEE BTS to support this program is an outstanding opportunity for us to showcase our broad content marketing expertise, leveraging all aspects of marketing communications including public relations, creative services, and branding."

The IEEE BTS works to advance broadcast engineering by maintaining scientific and technical standards, and by educating its members through various meetings, presentations, events, conferences, and training programs. With headquarters in Piscataway, New Jersey, the Society has more than 2,000 members and chapters worldwide. To promote the 2015 IEEE Broadcast Symposium, Wall Street Communications is working with the IEEE BTS to conduct an ongoing marketing communications program including creation and distribution of press releases, media relations, creation and distribution of promotional collateral for email distribution, and promotions through social media outlets.
