High Definition IVUS Imaging Has ArrivedEDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., Sept. 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Teirstein, MD, the chief of cardiology and director of interventional cardiology for Scripps Clinic and director of the Scripps Prebys Cardiovascular Institute for Scripps Health, performed the first patient case using the ACIST HDi™ High-Definition Intravascular Ultrasound System, after its market release on September 16, 2015. HDi offers detailed insight that interventional cardiologists can use to optimize treatment choice for their patients. During the case fine plaque details were visualized in a highly stenosis vessel, while continuously visualizing the entire vessel.
