Content Discovery Platform Curiyo Goes Mobile with New App and Video My2¢ Feature

Curiyo (www.curiyo.com), whose award-winning plugin and website deliver rich content in context, announced today the launch of a mobile app with new My2¢ Videos. My2¢ lets users share insights by commenting via short videos, audio clips, or text on any topic that interests them.

Curiyo was created by Internet entrepreneur Bob Rosenschein, best known as founder and CEO of Answers.com (News - Alert), which was acquired for $127 million. In 2014, Curiyo was named PC Magazine Editors' Choice for business software.

Just like Curiyo on the web, the new mobile app allows users to follow their topics of interest to view content from multiple sources, including news, photos, videos, Wikipedia, Twitter (News - Alert) and Reddit, without having to search through multiple websites. Content is seamlessly and cleanly displayed and easy to scroll through.

"The big problem today is overload and distraction," said Rosenschein. "Curiyo brings focused, relevant content about any person, place or thing directly to you in an all-in-one view. Today we're releasing our new app that makes it fun and simple for anybody to add his or her own two cents. The best comments will earn expert reputation. The rest of us will enjoy their insights."

The new Curiyo works on iOS, Android (News - Alert) and all browsers (desktop and mobile). It is also available as a simple JavaScript widget for publishers and bloggers who want to deliver quality background content to their readers while keeping them on their pages longer. It works internationally in 15 languages: English, Español, Deutsch, Français, Italiano, Português, Nederlands, Polski, ??????? (Russian), ???? (Chinese), ??? (Japanese), ??? (Korean), Turkish, Arabic and ????? (Hebrew).
