Xplore Technologies Hires Former Panasonic and Getac Sales Executive


Xplore Technologies (News - Alert) Corp. (NASDAQ: XPLR), manufacturer of the world's broadest range of high-quality rugged tablet computers, today announced it has hired David Dunkak as vice president of U.S. commercial sales. In his new role, Mr. Dunkak will be responsible for regional territories and channels. He will work closely with Randy Denny, vice president of U.S. sales to drive all commercial sales activities in the United States, while Mr. Denny will focus on enterprise accounts and Federal markets.

"David brings unrivaled experience in the rugged tablet market and has worked for some of our largest competitors," said Mark Holleran, president and COO of Xplore Technologies. "We are honored to have him join the Xplore team and believe he will bring the insights, relationships and know-how to lead our sales team to new heights in working with Randy."

Mr. Dunkak joins Xplore from Getac, where he spent six years and was most recently senior director of North American commercial sales. Prior to Getac, Mr. Dunkak spent 15 years at Panasonic (News - Alert), where he was responsible for the professional services organization and implementing and launching new value-added services for ToughBook clients and developig sales strategy and key selling points for PCSC sales force. Mr. Dunkak started his career in sales at MicroAge Computer Stores and also held positions at Brother International Corporation and Toshiba (News - Alert) America Information Systems, where he recruited and developed new resellers to promote portable computers.



Mr. Dunkak holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Finance and a minor in Economics from Emporia State University.
