Larco Launches Round Push Plate Switch Box

ATEK Access Technologies, LLC expanded its line of Larco automatic door control products with the addition of two new round push plate switch boxes which house push plate switches for automatic door activation. Available in brushed-finished stainless steel and CuVerro® antimicrobial copper*, Larco push plates include standard and custom etched enamel-filled engravings and a new bold text outline for exceptional readability.

"Customers have used the Larco push plate switches as door activation solutions for nearly 30 years," said Scott Gardeen, senior product manager for Larco products. "The demand for a round push plate box was very high because it adds a totally different kind of aesthetic. We are dedicated to developing products based on customer feedback and demand, and exceeding our customers' expectations."

Larco push plate boxes and switches are designed for both indoor and outdoor use. Both are constructed of high-durability materials to maintain a consistently clean and attractive finish, even in harsh environments.

The square and round push plates are available in 4-1/2"and 6" sizes, along with jamb and vertical switch products. Each push plate switch comes with a low-profile adapter plate for mounting on a standard 2" by 4" electrical outlet box or with a universal or round box. Each mounting box style can be either surface mounted or flush mounted for an extremely subdued installation. The switches are available in either hardwire or wireless versions.
