NEW YORK, Aug. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- SecurityScorecard™ (www.securityscorecard.com), the leading solution for security-risk benchmarking, announced the appointment of Steve Thomas as Director of Sales Engineering and Business Development. In this newly created position, Thomas will be responsible for applying his extensive technical security engineering background to build more opportunities across business development and help the company to continue to provide exceptional pre- and post-customer support services. He will report to SecurityScorecard's VP of Sales, Scott Schneider.

Prior to joining SecurityScorecard, Thomas served as head of the security division and director of business development at InfoArmor. Before that, he started his own company, PwnedList, monitoring compromised corporate credentials as a service, and later sold the company to InfoArmor. He has had stints at Innography and worked for several different divisions of IBM, as an international technical sales consultant.
