OpposingViews.com Achieves Nine-Fold Growth to Average 23 Million Unique Visitors


LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- OpposingViews.com – the independent news website focused on local stories that bring a fresh perspective to national issues – today reported that its traffic has surged nine-fold over the past two years to average more than 23 million unique visitors per month through the first half of 2015.

This figure compares to an average of 14.4 million unique monthly visitors last year and 2.8 million in 2013 (Google Analytics), and makes OpposingViews.com one of the foremost "digital native news" portals on the Web.

It has nearly four million fans, and its routine posts generate an average of 2,900 likes, 1,650 comments and 1,030 shares. In addition, the company's rapidly expanding video news coverage generates more than 20 million views per month across platforms, with an average of 170,000 views, 6,400 likes, 3,200 comments and 1,900 shares per video on Facebook.
