PHOENIX, July 23, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- In a world full of religious questions and criticism, a new Website aims to provide clarity and thoughtful perspective. "MyMormonBeliefs.com was created to engage the public to share and discuss Mormon beliefs," said Bentley. The Website encourages visitors to post their own thoughts on the topics discussed, contribute posts to an existing topic, or even suggest topics of their own.

Bentley focuses much of the Website on discussions geared to help others internalize and draw closer to his faith, including questions such as: "Have you ever wondered why today we don't have one clear answer of which religion to join? Or why so many religious divisions exist?", "What is the right answer that will lead us to Heaven?", "How can we find out for ourselves?" and "What do Mormons believe and why do we believ the way we do?"

While the questions presented within the Website address a broad range of religious topics, Bentley admits, "Not all questions will have definite answers, as belief in any religion requires an element of faith." He shares his own personal conversion story to the Church as he welcomes site visitors to explore the Mormon religion. "I have a very firm belief in the Church that I want to share with the world. At the heart of any topic discussed within the Website is the support that what the Mormon Church teaches is true."

Mormons believe that the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ is discovered in the teachings of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church). They attest that when applied, these teachings make a positive difference, and they wish to share what they believe with others.

"Mormon" is just a nickname for the Church. Organized in 1830, the official name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (or LDS for short). As of 2014, the Church had a worldwide membership of approximately 15 million individuals. The Church's head office is in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mormons agree that Jesus Christ lived here on Earth, paid the price for our sins, died on the cross and was resurrected after three days. Mormons believe that the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as restored on the Earth through the Prophet Joseph Smith, is the path to joy and happiness in this life and also life everlasting. They believe that many churches, including non-Christian denominations, have part of the truth that can bring them back to live with God as well as Jesus Christ after mortal life is over.
