A2Zlogix's Bandwidth Reduction Calculator Enables Mobile Operators to Model Bandwidth Savings and Resulting ROI

A2Zlogix, Inc. announced today the launch of its Bandwidth (News - Alert) Reduction Calculator. This powerful tool, designed by independent research firm, iGR, enables mobile operators to assess the bandwidth reductions and corresponding ROI that can be realized when A2Zlogix's ImageIQ^® Image Bandwidth Reduction (IBR) and ImageIQ^® Video Bandwidth Reduction (VBR) video optimization technologies are implemented.

Demand for mobile broadband has soared in recent years, with mobile video accounting for the largest part of this increase. According to Ericsson (News - Alert), mobile video traffic will grow approximately 45% per year until 2020, at which time it will comprise 55% of all mobile data.
