Hong Kong Trade Development Council Brings Technology Mission to United States to Explore PartnershipsHONG KONG, May 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- A 23-member delegation consisting of Hong Kong's top technology-related companies and organizations will visit the U.S. from June 9-21 as part of the "Think Asia, Think Hong Kong" (TATHK) event in Chicago on June 10, as organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC). The mission will explore partnership and collaboration opportunities in Chicago, Los Angeles, San Diego, Maryland and Wisconsin. The mission will visit the International Institute for Nanotechnology, Argonne National Labs, Rockwell Automation, Johnson Controls, Harley-Davidson, National Institute Standards & Technology, National Institute for Health, University of California, San Diego, Stratasys and Qualcomm, among others. Visiting companies include power tool maker TechTronics Industries (TTI), electronics manufacturer Coulomb Electronics Ltd., Suga International Holdings Ltd., Fook Tin Group Holdings Ltd., die-casting and plastic injection molding services provider Ka Shui International Holdings Ltd., and surface finishing companies Jing Mei Group, Chartermate International Limited and Pino Aliprandini (HK) Ltd. "These Hong Kong companies are looking forward to forming new business partnerships wih American technology providers," said mission leader Dr. Roy Chung, co-founder of TTI. "Partnering with Hong Kong companies opens doors for U.S. companies throughout Asia, particularly on the Chinese mainland. More than 130 government and business leaders from Hong Kong and the mainland will take part in TATHK, which is supported by 16 Hong Kong partners and 90 supporting organizations.
