Carr arrives at Blurb with an extensive public and media relations background. Prior to Blurb, she held key communications roles at various companies including Eastman Kodak (News - Alert), Gap Inc., Ubisoft, Electronic Arts, NIKE, and the San Francisco Giants. At Blurb, Carr will guide brand communications, product PR, and social media channels. She reports directly to Blurb's founder and CEO, Eileen Gittins.

Rimerman brings more than 15 years of publishing, design, and marketing experience to Blurb. Prior to Blurb, she was a senior acquisitions editor for Peachpit Press who focused on photography and design communities. She was also a series publishing manager and art director at Lonely Planet and worked in cover design at HarperCollins. In her new role at Blurb, she will drive global marketing and sales efforts for the creative professional and art segments, including graphic designers, photographers, museums, and galleries.

"I am beyond happy to announce the addition of Robin nd Susan to our growing marketing team and their expertise in driving awareness and demand for our commercial segments," said Gittins. "I know Blurb will greatly benefit from their combined years of experience in their respective professions."

"In the past I've worked with great companies that inspire a ton of creativity in the hands of their users," said Carr. "Blurb exudes that creative spirit, and I'm excited to dive in and help communicate the benefits of using Blurb to the world."

"I'm thrilled to join Blurb's marketing team and focus on creative professionals," said Rimerman. "Blurb's platform offers everyone an opportunity to make high-quality books or magazines with complete creative control and to distribute their work widely. Blurb is well positioned to do amazing things with these creators and I'm excited to lead the charge."

Both of these appointments come on the heels of the company's announcement of the Dream Team, a community of highly vetted freelance professionals available to help businesses and authors alike with book coaching, design, editing, illustration, and art services.
