STW Resources to Present Its Salttech Water Desalination Technology to Texas State Capitol May 13 and 14

STW Resources Holding Corp (OTCQB: STWS) subsidiary, STW Water Process & Technologies, LLC. (STW Water) is conducting a demonstration of their exclusively licensed Salttech Dynamic Vapor Recompression (DyVaR) Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) water processing technology at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, Texas.

Demonstration Dates: Wednesday, May 13th & Thursday, May 14th

Time: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Location: 1220 Colorado Street, Austin, TX (West side of the Texas Capitol Building on Colorado Street)

Lunch will be provided at 12:00 noon on both Wednesday, May 13th and Thursday, May 14th.

STW and its proprietary system licensed from Salttech Ltd. have garnered the attention of leaders at the highest level of government within the State of Texas. As Texas struggles with the challenges presented by drought and limited fresh water supplies, the quest for water technologies that will preserve and transform the way the state uses and re-uses water is of utmost importance. As the residents and businesses within the State of California know all too well, water is precious and there can be severe economic consequences if new, economically viable and environmentally friendly technologies are not embraced quickly.

Although the presentation's target audience is State, regulatory authorities, municipal officials, oil and gas company representatives, and engineers, the demonstration is open to the public. The demonstration is one of several presentations STW Water has planned statewide this year for the purpose of educating public and private entities about the DyVaR technology and its capacity for delivering clean water from brackish and ocean water with minimal discharge.

STW has obtained water samples directly from the Gulf of Mexico for the purpose of the demonstration. STW Water Specialists will run the salt water through the DyVaR system and will discuss the results to all in attendance. The distillate will be verified by an independent, third party, certified water laboratory. This demonstration will clearly illustrate the performance level of the DyVaR technology and its potential role in addressing the challenges of the drought and limited resources in Texas and other states.

The first Salttech DyVaR System operating in the United States, set up by the manufacturer with funding assistance from the federal government, is in Mentone, Texas-approximately 125 miles west of Midland, Texas. It will provide water for the citizens of Mentone after the successful pilot is completed. It runs off the electricity grid with solar farms providing electricity to offset the cost.

Stanley Weiner, CEO of STW Resources, said, "I am very excited about the opportunity to demonstrate STW's Salttech DyVaR Technology at the Texas State Capitol. With the recent passing of HB 2031, which aims to reduce the time required for approval of marine water desalination projects, we are extremely optimistic about the recognition of the need for this type of purification. Countries such as Israel and Australia have already implemented desalination methods that have significantly improved their water situations. With exclusive licensing of the Salttech DyVaR Zero Liquid Discharge system within the United States, we are positioned to provide a revolutionary process that will address the water crisis, not only in our great state of Texas, but also across drought afflicted areas of the United States."

Weiner continued, "This is an important technology for oil and gas companies as it will save them money on their drilling activities by reclaiming their drilling and fracking water while also serving as a conservation method to conserve our precious fresh water for municipal and agricultural needs." He continued, "For the municipalities, like that in Mentone, the system can alleviate the issues of providing its citizens with clean drinking water during this time of unprecedented drought and population growth in West Texas. With the shortage of fresh water worldwide, our technology can help to alleviate the shortages in many areas. We can also assist in any ocean desalination reverse operation to exclude the need to dispose of the oncentrated brine reject into local waterways and oceans, thus preventing any possible detrimental effects to the highly sensitive balance of the ecosystem. This Salttech DyVaR is a major technological breakthrough since we can now economically process high chloride water into potable water and not have any detrimental effects on our environment."

Alan Murphy, President of STW Water, noted, "I am very excited about the deployment of STW's first Salttech System in the United States for a drinking water application set behind STW's custom hybrid reverse osmosis system currently being approved by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). With this operation, there will be no need for evaporation ponds or saltwater discharge down deep-water injection wells. The zero liquid discharge (ZLD) system is able to recover approximately 97% of the fresh water from the concentrate, depending on salt contents. Our client for our first order is a $25 billion NYSE oil and gas company."

Murphy concluded, "The DyVaR system can economically process water (when compared with other distillation evaporation systems) with as little as 10,000 parts per million and up to 300,000 parts per million total dissolved solids. DyVaR System requires no prefiltration, membranes or chemicals to perform the cleaning of water with high total dissolved solids, such as ocean water. For cleaning oil & gas flowback or produced water, a system to remove hydrocarbons and the TSS ahead of DyVaR may be required if the customer prefers to have a clear 10lb brine."

About Salttech Technology - the Salttech DyVaR Technology Water Reclamation System is the most efficient Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) water processing technology that has ability to recover up to 95 - 97% clean water from high chloride water containing dissolved salts of up to and over 300,000 parts per million. This includes frack flowback, oilfield produced water, ocean water and reverse osmosis concentrated brine reject from salt water or high brackish systems. The remaining 3% - 5+% is discharged in the form of solid salts and minerals, thus no liquid discharge. Most conventional ocean water desalination systems produce 35% - 45% fresh water depending on water salinity, and therefore produce a 55% - 65% waste stream of highly concentrated brine liquid that ends up being discharged into the local waterways and oceans, potentially creating harmful effects on the ecosystems.

About STW Resources Holding Corp.

STW Resources Holdings Corp, (OTCQB: STWS) is a quality provider of oilfield services, water reclamation and processing management services, and rig cleaning services through its three subsidiaries. STW Water is a Total Water Solutions Provider Company and provides turnkey design build solutions and provides its Customers with "out-of-the-box" design solutions to meet customer's water needs. STW's model of water ownership has had recent successes and broken ground on their Ft. Stockton, Texas project.

It consults and provides customized water analysis, reclamation and remediation services to a variety of complex oil and gas produced and flowback water, brackish water, ocean water desalination, industrial, and municipal applications throughout several geographic locations to fill a tremendous need for fresh water in the areas they service. As an independent solutions provider, STW utilizes proven technologies, from various well-known manufacturers, including Salttech, a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology that is economically feasible to use. These technologies are available as fixed or mobile units with varying capabilities. STW's process ensures that the most effective and efficient technologies are implemented. The Salttech system can process any saline laden water with Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) levels ranging from 5,000 ppm to >300,000 ppm. Current potential project locations include the Eagle Ford (News - Alert) Shale (TX), the west Texas Delaware and Permian Basins (TX), eastern New Mexico, and ocean desalination projects on the Gulf Coast of Texas, California, and Hawaii.

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT: If STW's Salttech Technology is placed in-line with a Seawater Reverse Osmosis System or used with a geothermal operation, there will be no potentially environmentally sensitive brine concentrate discharged into the local waterways since the system is Zero Liquid Discharge and 95-97%+ of the fresh water is recovered in the process. The waste stream is salt crystals and minerals. This is a completely Blue/Green operation that provides a sustainable supply of power and water for municipal and industrial use.

STW uses the latest technology to install new pipelines and repair and maintain aging water, and oil & gas pipelines (STW Pipeline) and remove oil and diesel residue from drilling rigs to meet environmental regulations (STW Energy).
