VectorUSA Earns Recognition at the Cisco Partner Summit 2015

VectorUSA, a leading technology integrator, earned recognition at the Cisco (News - Alert) Partner Summit 2015, April 27 through 30, in Montreal, Canada, for its innovative work on the Long Beach Container Terminal automation project, using Cisco solutions combined with other partner technologies.

VectorUSA was the only company in the United States to earn this recognition from Cisco. At the Summit, Cisco Partners spoke highly of VectorUSA's groundbreaking Innovative Infrastructure, Intelligent Surveillance, Unified Communications (News - Alert) & Collaboration, and Mobility Solutions that provided the network architecture to support the terminal's automation needs.

VectorUSA is the lead technology infrastructure consultant on this project, advising LBCT on a number of avenues that will help the long-term automation oals of this new, state-of-the-art terminal. VectorUSA's solutions resulted in lowering costs, increasing safety and security while reducing theft. Larger ships will be able to move in and out of the harbor five-times faster, reducing fuel consumption and the carbon footprint. Phase I of the terminal will be operational by October 2015 with the final Phase III completed in December 2019. The modernization and automation of this super terminal will be the most technologically advanced marine terminal in North America.

This honor comes on the heels of VectorUSA achieving Cisco Gold Certification in September 2014.
